A foundation born from a shared passion
The Lambrecth Foundation was established in 2020 by Brigitte Beckers and Christian Lambrecth, a couple united by a profound passion for contemporary art and a desire to highlight exceptional talents who redefine the codes of European creation.
What distinguishes our approach is our absolute requirement: each artist supported by the Foundation demonstrates remarkable technical mastery and a profound artistic vision. We don't just collect works, we support journeys, encourage approaches, promote entire universes.
Beyond our role as collectors, we maintain close personal relationships with our artists and their families. This proximity nourishes our understanding of their work and strengthens our commitment alongside them.
Three fundamental pillars
The mission of the Lambrecth Foundation is built on three essential axes that guide all our actions and commitments.
Preserve
We preserve with the utmost care more than 85 major works that constitute the Foundation's endowment. Each piece is maintained according to the most demanding museum standards, ensuring its preservation for future generations.
Exhibit
We exhibit these artistic treasures through carefully orchestrated exhibitions in the most prestigious European institutions. Our goal is to make art accessible to as many people as possible, free or for a fee, while maintaining a level of excellence in scenography and mediation.
Promote
We promote the work of our artists by supporting their international recognition. This is achieved through the publication of in-depth studies, dedicated books, and the development of partnerships with leading cultural institutions.
The Foundation operates as a non-profit and remains completely independent of any political consideration. We are guided solely by our passion for art and our commitment to preserving and promoting contemporary artistic heritage.

Passionate entrepreneur and experienced collector, Christian Lambrecth presides over the Foundation with a clear and ambitious vision: to make European contemporary art a heritage accessible to all, while preserving the excellence and high standards that characterize each work in the collection.
His in-depth knowledge of the art world, combined with his keen sense of human relations, enables him to maintain close and lasting personal relationships with the artists and their families. This proximity fosters a deep understanding of their creative approach and reinforces the authenticity of the Foundation's commitment alongside them.

Passionate about art from a young age, Brigitte Beckers-Lambrecth oversees the vice-presidency and financial management of the Foundation with rigor and dedication. Her mastery of four European languages is a major asset for developing international partnerships and positioning the Foundation on the global art scene.
She personally supervises the design and implementation of exhibitions, ensuring that each presentation respects the integrity of the works and the vision of the artists. Her attention to detail and demand for quality make her a guarantee of excellence for all the Foundation's initiatives.
