Recognition of Cultural Merits
On June 19, 2026, the Lambrecth Foundation was honored by the Municipality of Oupeye for its exceptional contribution to the cultural influence of the region. This official recognition above all celebrates the exceptional talent of the three artists we support: ABES, Stéphanie ALIKI, and Luis SALAZAR, whose works enrich the European artistic landscape.
This distinction underscores the Foundation's essential role in bringing these exceptional talents to light. Through large-scale exhibitions at Oupeye Castle and other prestigious venues, we work to introduce the public to the unique universe of each of our artists: ABES's urban poetry, Stéphanie ALIKI's synesthetic abstraction, and the emotional power of Luis SALAZAR's canvases.
The ceremony took place in the majestic setting of Oupeye Castle, in the presence of municipal authorities, representatives of the Belgian cultural world, and the Foundation's artists. This emotional moment testifies to the recognition of our creators' artistic work and encourages us to continue our mission: preserving, exhibiting, and promoting their works for future generations.
A recognition that honors above all the artistic excellence of our creators.

Moments from the Ceremony
Exhibition "Perceiving The Invisible"

In April 2026, The Tower of Oupeye Castle hosted "Perceiving The Invisible", an exhibition bringing together works from two artists of the Lambrecth Foundation: ABES and Stéphanie ALIKI. This unique presentation allowed the public to discover the fascinating dialogue between ABES's urban poetry and Stéphanie ALIKI's synesthetic abstraction.
The exhibition explored themes of perception, abstraction, and personal expression through a carefully selected collection of works. The title "Perceiving The Invisible" invited visitors on an introspective journey, where each artist revealed their unique vision of the invisible that inhabits the human soul and artistic creation.
This exhibition, noted by the local press, confirmed the Lambrecth Foundation's role in promoting contemporary art. Visitors particularly appreciated the staging in the unique setting of The Tower, which sublimated the dialogue between these two complementary artistic universes.

Deeply attached to the act of painting, Luis Salazar places himself in the lineage of the great masters he admires, from past and present, all driven by the quest for Beauty.
His painting, abstract, reflects his entire personality: intense, dynamic, fragmented, inventive and explosive, while maintaining a rigorous and controlled composition.
For him, painting speaks for itself. For over forty years, he has been developing a unique abstract visual language made of forms and contrasting colors, where each work dialogues with the previous one, creating an adventure that is both intellectual and deeply passionate.
